Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using this platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Who can use the platform

The Platform is for adult coaches with a valid USEL (US Engineering League) account to register teams for WRO events, and for authorized event organizer staff to manage their events. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you submit, including team and roster information sourced through your USEL account.

3. Registration, fees, and refunds

Event registration fees are shown on each event page and charged through Stripe at the time of registration. A registration is confirmed only once payment is successfully processed.

If your season pass or team is no longer valid by the time your registration is finalized (for example, the pass was voided or no longer matches the event's category), your registration will be automatically cancelled and, if you were charged, fully refunded — you do not need to request this. For any other cancellation, contact the event organizer or info@bytewiseholding.com; refund eligibility for coach-initiated cancellations is at the discretion of the event organizer.

4. Account and conduct

Sign-in is passwordless, tied to your email address. You are responsible for maintaining control of that email account, and for all activity under your account. Do not use the Platform to submit false eligibility information, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access another user's account or data.

5. Event organizer responsibilities

Event organizers are independently responsible for the accuracy of their event listings (schedule, venue, fees, and eligibility requirements) and for conducting their events. The Platform provides registration infrastructure; it is not the organizer of any individual WRO event listed on it.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumabyte will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Platform will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
